The 4 Laws Of Marriage

The Law of Leave: "for this reason a man will leave." Our marriages are to be the most important human relationships we have.

The Law of Cleave: "shall cleave" ... the idea of cleaving implies an ongoing pursuit of our partners ... we never stop trying to win their affections.

The Law of Weave: "the two became one flesh" ... one flesh is more than the physical union; we need to be building intimacy in every area of our relationships.

The Law of Believe: "naked and unashamed." Just as the fall separated God and man it also separated man and wife. We will discuss the effects of sin on our marriages and present steps to purity. (This material has been adapted from Marriage on the Rock by Jimmy and Karen Evans.)
